This is a highly interactive and fun workshop introducing you to "improvisational" skills. We will cover the three fundamental skills that all improv actors use when on stage and the one key guiding principle. This will transfer into application for the Corporate landscape. We will split into three teams, each with their own skilled Facilitator to work on the fundamentals of improv in preparation for the ultimate competition.

Facilitators:

  • Linda is a seasoned facilitator and founding member of Theatre Sports (Improvisational Games) in Ontario, who together with other University of Waterloo colleague's have brought it to life travelling to diverse stages and ultimately into the corporate world.
  • Jeffrey Knight is a well known Canadian Actor/Comedian who has prospered as a commercial and film actor, will share his love and skill of improv during the workshop. He is also a founding member of Theatre Sports from the University of Waterloo.
  • Outcomes:

  • Build courage to become more comfortable thinking on your feet
  • Be exposed to behavioural nuances that encourage and develop great facilitation, relationships, and creative problem solving skills
  • Enhanced presentation, communication, and awareness skills
  • You'll want to join an improv group!
